Tech eating away at real estate but not taking it over

Artificial intelligence (AI) may not replace Realtors anytime soon, but as more day-to-day tasks are being automated – including algorithms matching sellers to buyers – some agents may see a boost in productivity even as others exit the business.

Gov. Scott signs HOA, real property and trust fund bills

One bill changes some of the rules condo associations must follow. After July 1, for example, they can’t prohibit owners from installing vehicle charging stations. It also touches on financial reporting, voting on common elements and more.

Congress' budget extends flood insurance to July

NFIP would get a four-month extension under the massive federal spending deal – the fourth temporary program extension since Sept. That gives lawmakers time to hammer out a long-term deal before this latest extension expires during hurricane season.

Fla.'s housing market continues positive track in Feb. 2018

Florida Realtors’ data: More closed sales, more new listings and higher median prices in Feb. even as inventory remained tight. Statewide single-family sales up 3.3%, median price up 9.6%; condo sales up 6.4%, median price up 7.2%.
